The National Arts Festival is an annual festival of performing arts in Grahamstown, South Africa, the largest arts festival on the African continent, and one of the largest performing arts festivals in the world. The award recognizes the best of the Fringe Festival – works that stand out for a variety of reasons that make a lasting impression on the judges, from being an audience pleaser to showcasing talent and technical skill. My acting partner and I were proud to receive this for our streaming version of the theatrical performance of Dear Donald/Dear Hillary (Their Secret Correspondence).
