Award is presented to a new faculty member with the expectation that these funds will be applied to activities what will assist the new junior faculty member in their scholarly efforts at the university.
Faculty Summer Grant
University of North Texas Summer 2021
Award is presented to a UNT faculty member with expectation that the funds will be used toward a summer creative research work for a presentation of Dear Donald, Dear Hillary (Their Secret Correspondence) with the Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Festival, the largest event of its kind in the world.
CLASS Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Research
Nomination by the Department of Dance and Theatre Spring 2022
The CLASS Advisory Board Award for Excellence in Research recognizes annually a tenure-system CLASS faculty member of any rank for a major professional accomplishment -- or suite of related accomplishments -- that have occurred at some point during the last 5 years. The first step of the award process is the selection of the candidate for nomination by their department, which I received.
CLASS Small Grant
University of North Texas Spring 2024
This grant is presented annually by the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences to supplement the research expenses of its professors. This particular grant of $1000 will be used for May '24 research in NYC for two upcoming productions in the '24-'25 season at Dallas Theater Center.
