Merit Evaluations.

"Annually, the Department of Dance and Theatre Personnel Affairs Committee (PAC) and the Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure Committees (RPTC) evaluates the quality, quantity and significance of creative/scholarly research, the quality and effectiveness of teaching, and the significance of faculty service to the University, College, Department, and the profession for the purposes of merit evaluation and promotion.  Consistent with the University's mission, tenured and lecturer faculty is expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence across all three areas of research/scholarship, teaching, and service. Primary emphasis shall be placed on research and scholarship excellence, which is most important for promotion and tenure."
